ChurchLedger Privacy Policy
ChurchLedger is operated by JedRey IT Solutions, Sariaya, Quezon, Philippines. This policy covers two things: the personal information you give us on this website, and the church financial records your church stores in the hosted ChurchLedger service. We do not sell either, and we do not use either for advertising.
Who we are
ChurchLedger is a financial stewardship platform built and hosted by JedRey IT Solutions ("we", "us"), Pablo Street, Brgy. Poblacion 2, Sariaya, Quezon, Philippines. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), JedRey IT Solutions is the personal information controller for information collected on this website, and a personal information processor for the church records a subscribing church stores in the service, where the church is the controller.
Information collected on this website
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. The only information we collect is what you choose to send us through the walkthrough request form or by email, Messenger, or phone:
- Church name, your name, and your email address (required to reply)
- Mobile number, your role, church size, the system you use today, and any message you add (optional)
- The page you sent the form from and your IP address, recorded for spam prevention
We use this information only to reply to your enquiry, schedule a walkthrough, and recommend a plan. Form submissions are delivered to our mailbox at info@churchledger.app through our own server; we do not pass them to marketing platforms. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a subscriber, as part of your account records. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.
Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers. Google's handling of that request is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Your church's records in the service
When a church subscribes, its authorised users enter financial and related records into ChurchLedger: receipts and acknowledgments for offerings, disbursement vouchers and attachments, petty cash, fund balances, bank accounts, loans, budget figures, payroll details of church staff, and the names of members and donors the church chooses to record. These records belong to the church. We process them only to provide, secure, back up, and support the service, and to assist the church when it asks us to.
We do not read, analyse, share, or sell church records for any other purpose. Our staff access a church's records only when needed to provide support, migration, or troubleshooting the church has requested, or to keep the service running.
Who can access church records
- Your church's users. Access is role-based. Staff, admin, and treasurer roles determine who can enter transactions, approve vouchers, and view fund balances and reports. The church controls who holds each role.
- JedRey IT Solutions. A named engineer, for support and maintenance as described above.
- Hosting providers. The service and its backups run on reputable cloud infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We do not give them any right to use church data.
- Nobody else, unless required by Philippine law or a lawful order, in which case we will inform the church where we are permitted to.
How records are protected
- All connections to the service use HTTPS encryption.
- The database is backed up automatically every day.
- Every voucher carries an approval trail recording who created, edited, and approved it.
- Staff edits are locked after a 30-day window; only an admin can unlock them.
- Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your church's records, we will notify the church and, where required, the National Privacy Commission, within the periods the law requires.
Retention, export and deletion
Your records stay in the service for as long as your church subscribes. Transaction lists can be exported to CSV at any time. If your church cancels, you can export your records before the subscription ends; afterwards we delete the church's data from the live service and from backups as the backup cycle rolls over, unless the law requires us to keep specific records longer. If ChurchLedger were ever discontinued, we would give subscribing churches notice and time to export their records first.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access and correct your personal information, to object to its processing, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to be indemnified for damages. Members, donors, and staff whose details a church records in ChurchLedger should direct requests to their church, which controls those records; we will assist the church in responding. For information collected on this website, contact us directly using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Children
This website and the service are intended for church officers and staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top, and notify subscribing churches of material changes before they take effect.
